In the ten years since the Belt and Road Initiative was proposed(2013-2023),as an important link and carrier to promote people-to-people connectivity, traditional Chinese medicine culture has been widely spread in countries along the Belt and Road. This article takes Russia,India, and South Africa, three emerging countries in the global South that are both BRICS countries and the Belt and Road alongside countries as case studies.Using Gamson's interpretative package as a framework and traditional Chinese medicine cultural reports in these three countries in the past ten years as samples to conduct empirical research based on content analysis. The research finds that India focuses more on social background and government attribution,Russia pays more attention to the evaluation of traditional Chinese medicine and its consequences and impacts, and South Africa emphasizes ecological background and attribution of traditional Chinese medicine. The reporting devices of traditional Chinese medicine culture in these three countries mainly adopt de-scriptive devices and argumentative devices, with fewer metaphors and phrases.Over time,Tu Youyou winning the Nobel Prize(2015)triggered India's reflection on the development of its own medicine, stimulated Russia's greater interest in traditional Chinese medicine, and during the COVID-19 pandemic, discussions on traditional Chinese medicine culture became more extensive and diverse, public opinion became polarized. There is a correlation between the reporting devices and reasoning devices of traditional Chinese medicine culture in these three countries.
