Lingnan Literati Zhao Xihuang's Poetry Writing on Luofu Mountain
Zhao Xihuang was an outstanding Lingnan literati in the mid-Qing Dynasty.Judging from Zhao Xihuang's life and his 432 Peak Cottage Poems,he regarded Luofu Mountain as his spiritual destination and wrote more than 100 poems about it,mainly exploring landscapes, appreciating scenery, and missing hometown.Due to the infiltration of Buddhist and Taoist culture in Luofu Mountain, coupled with the personal temperament of"haze preference",and admiration for Su Shi,inheriting the tradition of Lingnan Poetry School,Zhao Xihuang's Luofu Mountain poetry writing presents three characteristics:a poetic style that blends Buddhism and Taoism,a fresh and natural poetic language, and a bold and straightforward poetic roots.
