On the Notes and Revision of Wild Grass in The Complete Works of Lu Xun
As Lu Xun's only prose poetry collection,Wild Grass has been recognized by the academic circles for its complexity and difficulty in understanding.The Complete Works of Lu Xun,published by The People's Literature Publishing House,promoted the popularization of Wild Grass through annotations.However,different versions of The Complete Works of Lu Xun treat the annotation of Wild Grass differently,which not only presents some phenomena and problems in the history of Chinese contemporary literature,but also reflects the historical changes of Lu Xun's works publication and Lu Xun's image shaping.From 1958 to 2005,the change of the annotation form of Wild Grass in the context of The Complete Works of Lu Xun over the past 50 years reflect the adjustment of the ide-ological and cultural stance of the annotators of the complete works.
