Development of a mid-to-low frequency ultrasound ablation therapy instrument for liver tumors
In order to study the therapeutic effect of mid-to-low frequency non focused ultrasound on tumor tissue,an ultrasound tumor treatment instrument with mid-to-low frequency ultrasound transducer probes was designed. The structure of the low-frequency ultrasound transducer was a symmetrical longitudinal vibration structure with high efficiency of 20 kHz;the structural design of the intermediate frequency ultrasonic transducer is a curved disc composite oscillator with a frequency of 1 MHz.After passing through the corresponding driving circuit, the intermediate frequency transducer radiated sound waves to shallow tumor tissue, and the low-frequency transducer radiated sound waves to deep tumor tissue.Animal experiments in mice found that the liver tumor tissue was significantly necrotic and reduced, while no significant abnormalities were observed in the other tissues. The results indicate that mid-to-ow frequency non focused ultrasound can effectively ablate solid tumor tissue with sufficient safety and minimal side effects.
