Analysis of Spatial-temporal Convergence Characteristics of High Quality Development in the Region Around Taihu Lake
The comprehensive evaluation method is used to measure the high quality development level of the region around Taihu Lake.Use the σ con-vergence and β convergence model regression analysis to analyze the longitudinal convergence trend and internal influence mechanism of the region a-round Taihu Lake over time.It shows that the high quality development of the region around Taihu Lake gradually increases from 2005 to 2021.The gap of high quality development index of the five cities around Taihu Lake has been narrowing year by year,and there is σ convergence.The high quali-ty development index among the five cities around Taihu Lake has significant β convergence.Cities with low economic development levels,such as Huzhou and Jiaxing.are catching up with Suzhou,Wuxi and Changzhou at a fast speed.and are converging at a speed of more than 15％.Low carbon green development is an important factor to promote high quality development convergence in the region around Taihu Lake.
