Hubert L.Dreyfus'Phenomenological Criticism Theory and Contemporary Significance
American philosopher Hubert L.Dreyfus combined the basic principles of Marxism with the relevant theoretical thinking of the Frankfurt school,an important school of Western Marxism,to create a phenomenological criticism theory at the level of intelligent technology.Dreyfus mainly analyzes artificial intelligence and examines representation phenomena from the perspective of technological modernity criticism, which is to some ex-tent consistent with Marx's dialectical materialism epistemology.Although Dreyfus's argument for the development of artificial intelligence is not par-ticularly sufficient,he points out that the power of computers cannot replace the power of the human brain, which is a highly valuable viewpoint. He also pointed out that what people should think about is not the issue of artificial intelligence and the dominance of human technological rationality and value rationality, but rather whether the information values of the intelligent era meet the needs of human existence and development.
