This paper delves into the development of mu-seums and architectural creation in the context of the new era.It revisits the evolution of the definition of"museum"and examines the trend toward greater openness,inclusivity,and engagement,building upon the traditional functions of collection,exhibition,research,and education.Through five case studies of museum architectural creation,the paper illustrates how culture,environment,and originality can be integrated into architectural design.Additionally,it identifies challenges in the current museum planning process and provides recommendations to promote the high-quality development of museums.This aims to showcase the strength of Chinese museums in the sphere of international cultural exchange.
