Optimization of Determination of NCO Content in Polyurethane Prepolymer
The determination method of isocyanate group content in polyurethane prepolymer referenced to the standard HG/T 2409-1992 was optimized,for more accurately and quickly.The optimal testing conditions were selected by changing the amount of solvents,reaction time,and indicator during the experimental process.The results showed that the sample size varied according to the NCO content reference HG/T 2409,the dosage of isopropyl alcohol was 50 mL,the dosage of toluene and 0.2 mol/L dibutylamine-toluene solution were both 10 mL,the reaction time was 10 min,and the indicator bromocresol green was selected as the optimal test condition.The optimal method reduced the environmental pollution and the analysis cost,improved the test efficiency and had high precision.
