Research on Improving the Odor and VOC of Flexible Polyurethane Foam by Catalyst
The content of aldehydes before and after the foaming of flexible polyurethane foam with different amine catalysts were investigated. The change in the aldehyde content of the catalyst itself during long-term storage, and the odors of the foams were also studied. The results showed that, due to the special ring structure and primary hydroxyl group of the catalyst RZETA,the emission of amine and aldehyde compounds was reduced, and the problem of foam odor was effectively solved.
