Preparation of Multilayer Polyurethane Composite Sound Insulation Material with Hydrophobic Surface
The multi-layer sound absorbing composite was prepared by a polyurethane hydrophobic layer combined with the sound absorbing layer which composed of polyurethane and hollow glass microsphere(HGM).The surface layer of the sample PU/HGM-1 was hydrophobic layer, plus 2 sound absorbing layers, the total thickness of the sample was 14 mm.The comparison sample PU/HGM-2 consists of 3 sound absorbing layers, and the total thickness of the sample was 18 mm.The sound insulation properties, sound absorption coefficient and static water contact angle of the material were tested, and the microstructure was characterized by atomic force microscopy. The results showed that, although the total thickness of the sample PU/HGM-1 was 4 mm thinner than PU/HGM-1,the sound insulation effect was better. The sound insulation quantity reached 33 dB at the frequency of 2 000 Hz,and the sound insulation quantity was above 20 dB at the frequency of 2 000~5 000 Hz.In a certain frequency range, the composite material presented relatively uniform sound absorption characteristics. The static water contact angle of PU/HGM-1 was 105°,and scanning electron microscopy(AFM)test showed that the surface of the material had a continuous micro-nano structure. The variation trend of the sound absorption coefficient of the two samples was the same.In the range of 1 700 Hz to 3 400 Hz,the sound absorption coefficient of the samples PU/HGM-1 was higher, and the sound absorption effect was better.
