Structural Design and Strength Analysis of Spudcan for Self Elevating Wind Power Installation Vessel with Truss Legs
In order to analysis and optimize the spudcan design of a truss self-elevating wind power installation vessel with large lifting capacity, two loading methods required by China Classification Society(CCS)are used for the basic structural design of the spudcan, and ensure the spudcan construction firstly start to fulfill the cycle of the project.Based on the preloading, eccentric, normal operation and survival conditions, preliminary structural analysis is carried out using SESAM software. On this basis, the structural strength of pile boots is locally strengthened and optimized,Internal plate thickness, the general arrangement of inner bulkheads and hole plan are further optimized to realize reduction of weight and material cost, and the global structural strength and operation safety fulfill the requirement of the rules, and finally a complete procedure of structural design, analysis and optimization methods is formed, providing engineering reference for the evaluation of spudcan series and construction of self elevating wind power installation vessel.
