Abstract
This paper describes the problems and reasons for the reliability of rural power supply,and explores the role of digital power grids in solving these problems,including real-time monitoring and fault diagnosis,remote control and automation operation,prediction and optimization scheduling,as well as intelligent microgrids and distributed energy integration.
