Design of a Fiber Optic Data Interface Chip with a 40Mbps Transmission Rate
This paper expounds the design of a 40Mbps optical fiber data interface chip.The transmission rate is 1.6 times that of the 20Mbps optical fiber data interface chip,the transmission delay reaches 20ns,the jitter time is stable at 0.04ns,the duty cycle reaches 44.19%,the signal transmission capacity is stable and the output signal is not distorted.On this basis,it packages the chip and the LED together,which can stably provide 3.5～4mA operating current for the LED,reducing the overall power consumption.The chip is suitable for digital optical data links and digital audio interfaces.
