This paper describes a circuit implementation scheme for controlling output power in PLC communication.This scheme utilizes an ALC control loop to change the TX VGA gain at the transmitter,thereby achieving adaptive adjustment of PA output power.This circuit can effectively solve the problem of time-varying power line loads and changes in PA output power.Through the ALC automatic loop,the PA output power remains basically unchanged under different output loads.Under overload conditions,it can improve the linearity of PA,reduce the overall harmonic of PA,ensure the performance of system EMI,and improve the quality of PLC communication.
