This paper describes the operation mode of substations in the power system,analyzes the problems and reasons of substation operation safety management and equipment maintenance,and proposes safety management informatization and maintenance strategies,including improving safety management systems,strengthening mechanical equipment informatization management,and mechanical equipment informatization maintenance.
