Testing digital array and digital beam forming by using traditional phased array test method has some disadvantages such as complex system,long equipment cycle and difficult decou-pling of problems.Therefore,for digital arrays and related algorithms,a method of evaluating and iterating on performance in the middle phase of system development at a low cost with high effi-ciency which does not rely on antennas and physical environments is required.A low-cost receiving array pattern test system based on array signal simulation technology is proposed,and a random virtual phase shift technique is proposed to solve the problem of insufficient test accuracy.Based on the brief theoretical analysis,the test platform composition and test process are given,and the ef-fectiveness is verified through simulation and practical test.
