A Beam Control Optimization Design of Wide-band Phased Array with Large Aperture
Aiming at the contradiction between instantaneous bandwidth and implementation cost of large aperture phased array antenna used in electronic countermeasures system,an optimal design of beam control network is proposed.Based on the existing sub-array level simulation delay beam control network, the residual method and virtual bit technology are used to compensate the phase jump introduced by the step of the previous stage delay device through the small step shifter beam control device at the end.Meanwhile, the delay network is processed hierarchical, and the phase jump of next large step delay device is compensated by forward small step delay device. The fitting forms a phase distribution that is highly consistent with the theoretical phase-shifting require-ments.It has the advantages of high pointing accuracy, large instantaneous bandwidth, low loss and low cost when the beam is scanned at large angle.
