Research into Testing and Certification System of Foreign Army IFF
A unified technology system is a prerequisite for improving the operational effectiveness of identification friend or foe(IFF)equipment.For a long time,due to the lack of normalized and standardized detection and certification means of IFF equipment,there are differences in various types of IFF equipment system,which seriously restricts the operational effectiveness of IFF equip-ment.After more than 40 years of development,the US military has formed a relatively compre-hensive and complete testing & certification system,and the system has reached a high level of technology and application.This paper analyzes the certification mechanism and its application of the AIMS Program Office,summarizes the development characteristics and enlightenment,and proposes the development proposal of the IFF equipment testing and certification system.
