With the rapid development of the civil aviation system,the performance of air traffic con-trol radars is also improving day by day,and the use of high-power transmitters requires high-per-formance feeder synthesis.High power resistance,low loss and good standing wave performance are the necessary features of radar synthesizers.This paper adopts a high-power eight-in-one syn-thesizer designed with a stripline T-shaped joint 3 dB equally divided circuit.Each sub-port uses L29 type connectors,which has higher power resistance than traditional N-type connectors.A sin-gle port can withstand radio frequency(RF)power 6 kW,and the total output of the eight-in-one synthesizer can reach 45 kW.The design of the high-power eight-in-one synthesizer adopts ANSYS HFSS microwave and RF simulation software for simulation optimization design,and the real ob-jects is processed,then the S parameters are tested.The total port voltage standing wave ≤1.2,and the loss of each port<0.12 dB.The port phase consistency is good,and the performance is good and stable in the radar whole machine debugging,which meets the requirements of the whole machine for air traffic control radars very well.
