Ammunition is the most active field in the construction and development of artillery weapons and equipment sys-tem.It is the core element that constitutes the combat effectiveness of the artillery force and the important material guarantee that de-termines the final combat effectiveness.It is the key to achieve"accurate","skillful"and"destroyed"of the artillery.By studying the development status of precision guided munitions in the U.S.and Russian artillery,this paper analyzes the development trend of precision guided munitions in the U.S.and Russian artillery,and provides reference for the development of precision guided muni-tions with strong operational applicability,high strike accuracy,strong anti-interference ability and good damage ability.
