Aiming at the shortcomings of background difference method and inter-frame difference method in moving object detection,a new algorithm combining background difference method and inter-frame difference method is proposed.First,the back-ground created by the Gaussian mixture model is differentiated from the current frame,and then the difference image is obtained by using the inter-frame difference method.Finally,the two difference results are fused to detect the moving target,and the target con-tour and boundary region are marked.The experiment shows that the new algorithm improves the detection effect significantly.
