Analysis of the Influence of Layered Earth on the Current Distribution of VLF Horizontal Low Rack Antenna
In this paper, the current distribution characteristics of very low frequency horizontal low antenna in lossy half space under different grounding modes are studied. The mathematical structure model of the horizontal low antenna is established, and the current distribution formula of the very low frequency horizontal low antenna is deduced theoretically. The influence of the thickness and conductivity of the earth dielectric layer on the current distribution of the antenna is analyzed by numerical analysis software. The results show that when changing the layer thickness of the medium above and below the earth, for the antenna fed in the middle, the performance of the antenna grounded at both ends is about 0.485%better than that of the antenna overhead at both ends.Similarly, when changing the conductivity of the upper and lower dielectric layers of the earth, the performance of the antenna grounding method is about 0.385%better than the overhead method.
