Design of Course Angle Detection System for Rotating Polarized Light Based on ZYNQ
In order to meet the requirement of high precision and real-time calculation in image-polarized navigation,a ZYNQ7020 based rotating polarized light course angle detection system is designed in this paper. In order to facilitate the study, the body axis coincides with the true north direction, and the position of the solar meridian is calculated in real time. The angle between the solar meridian and the true north direction is the heading angle. The system uses a high-precision brushless motor to rotate the polarizer at a fixed angle and expose it at the same time.Three polarizing images from different angles are captured by the camera, and the three polarizing images are processed as a group to calculate the heading angle. The maximum error of the system is 1.65° and the average error is 0.34°in the outdoor clear sky with few clouds. The experimental results show that the polarized light heading angle detection system designed in this paper has good accuracy and reliability. It can collect polarized light and calculate the posi-tion of the solar meridian and heading angle in real time.
