Underwater Radiated Noise Measurement Method of Moving Source Based on Adaptive Beamforming
An adaptive beamforming method is proposed, which can restrain the measurement accuracy and provide maximum interference suppression. The hydrophone array is used to receive the measurement signal, and the error between the array synthe-sized signal obtained by Green's function of sound field and the signal received by a single array element is restricted. The optimal weight coefficient of the array is designed according to the criterion of obtaining the maximum array gain, and the weight coefficient is solved by using the second-order cone optimization,so as to obtain the adaptive beamformer for maximizing interference suppres-sion under the constraint of measurement accuracy. The computer simulation results show that this method can effectively improve the processing gain of radiated noise from underwater moving sound sources while ensuring high noise measurement accuracy under low signal-to-noise ratio conditions.
