Design of the Carrier Conformal Beidou Microstrip Antenna
The carrier conformal Beidou antenna is an important component of the flight carrier Beidou positioning system. The cylinder is the basic structure of various aircraft. In order to obtain a simple and feasible design method for a carrier conformal Beidou antenna suitable for a class of large aspect ratio cylinders, this article takes a 23 mm flight carrier as the background, attaches the unit antenna to the cylinder in a patch manner, and uses a side fed feeding method. It is connected to a feeder with a characteristic impedance of 50 Ω(line width of 2.8 mm)through a quarter impedance converter. The simulation results show that the resonant frequency of the designed carrier conformal Beidou microstrip antenna is 1.563 GHz,and the S parameter at the resonance point in the Beidou B1 frequency band is-40.201 7 dB.The antenna gain pattern shows an E-omnidirectional and H-plane directional effect, which can be applied in the lifting process of the carrier and achieve normal omnidirectional reception.
