Performance Simulation of a CO2 Refrigeration System Coupled with Solution Dehumidification
CO2 has many advantages, such as environmental friendliness, good stability, and low production cost, and it is considered to be an ideal refrigerant for the next generation. However, the transcritical CO2 refrigeration cycle has a low efficiency due to high pressure issues, and the condensation dehumidification efficiency is poor.To solve these problems, this paper proposes a transcritical CO2 compression refrigeration system coupled with a solution dehumidification system and conducts theoretical simula-tion and analysis. It is found that under different operating conditions, the efficiency of this system can be improved by 10%~80%compared to a standalone CO2 refrigeration cycle system, indicating its broad development potential and application prospects.
