Analysis of Acoustic Control by Frequency Response Inversion Method in Underwater Acoustic Countermeasures
Acoustic control can induce and suppress sonar by adjusting the spectral characteristics of underwater acoustic sig-nal,which is the key link of underwater acoustic countermeasures.Based on the basic principle of control theory,a frequency re-sponse inversion method for acoustic control is proposed in this paper.Taking the application of aluminum alloy column shell to ob-tain broadband uniform spectrum as an example, the implementation process of frequency response inversion method for acoustic control is simulated in COMSOL environment.Three typical applications of acoustic control by frequency response inversion method in underwater acoustic countermeasures are analyzed, which are to deceive passive sonar detection system by simulating to radiation characteristics of target,to suppress passive sonar detection system by covering radiation characteristic of target, and to suppress passive sonar detection system by covering reflection characteristic of target. The results show that the frequency response inversion method can effectively deceive passive sonars and suppress passive and active sonars, which can meet the requirements of underwa-ter acoustic countermeasures to a certain extent.
