Shipborne Early Warning Aircraft Array Configuration Based on Velocity Constraint of Anti-ship Missile
The characteristic parameters of typical anti-ship missiles are analyzed briefly in view of the problem of array con-figuration of ship-borne early warning and detection aircraft for various types of anti-ship missiles. The factors affecting the array configuration of shipborne early warning aircraft and the whole process of shipborne early warning and detection of anti-ship mis-siles are clarified. The calculation model of array position configuration of ship-borne early warning and detection anti-ship missile is established from the forward distance of ship-borne early warning and detection aircraft, the threat angle of incoming missile and the maximum detection radius of ship-borne early warning and detection aircraft. The effects of radar reflection cross-sectional area(RCS)and the velocity of incoming anti-ship missile on the forward departure distance of shipborne early warning aircraft are simu-lated and analyzed. The results show that the forward departure range of shipborne early warning aircraft against different types of in-coming anti-ship missiles increases as the radar reflection cross-sectional area(RCS)of incoming missiles increases, and the for-ward departure range decreases as the speed of incoming missiles increases.
