Research of Current Sensor Fault Tolerant Control of Induction Motor
Affected by manufacturing processes and harsh working environments, the current sensor in asynchronous motor vector control system may fail, which can seriously affect motor control performance and even lead to system crashes. In order to achieve the fault-tolerant function of asynchronous motor drive systems,a fault-tolerant control(FTC)strategy for current sensor faults in asynchronous motors is studied in this paper.Firstly, fault diagnosis is carried out based on the residual error between the current observation module and the current sensor measurement.Furthermore,to eliminate the impact of load changes, the current threshold is selected as the percentage of q-axis stator current related to the load. Finally, through simulation and experimental anal-ysis,the feasibility of this FTC method is verified, even under the most unfavorable conditions where all three-phase current sen-sors fail.
