基于MMC与LPA的混合功率放大器研究

论文研究了一种基于模块化多电平变换器(MMC)和线性功率放大器(LPA)的混合功率放大器(HPA)的拓扑结构及其控制策略。混合功率放大器可以直接与高压直流电源相连,并易于进行容量拓展,可靠性高。为提升混合功率放大器的工作效率和保真度,建立了系统综合电路模型,分析了影响功率放大器输出性能的主要因素,提出了相应的控制方法,并给出了控制系统的设计方案。最后通过仿真验证了混合拓扑的可行性和控制方法的正确性,其输出电压波形良好,实现了兼顾高效率和高保真的目的。
Research on Hybrid Power Amplifier Based on MMC and LPA
This paper studies the topology and control strategy of a hybrid power amplifier(HPA)based on modular multilevel converter(MMC)and linear power amplifier(LPA).The hybrid power amplifier can be directly connected to a high-voltage DC power supply,and it is easy to expand in capacity and has high reliability.In order to improve the efficiency and fidelity of the hy-brid power amplifier,the system integrated circuit model is established.The main factors affecting the output performance of the power amplifier are analyzed.The corresponding control method is proposed and design scheme of the control system is given.Final-ly,the feasibility of hybrid topology and the correctness of the control method are verified by simulation.Experimental results are presented to demonstrate the suitable performance of the output voltage waveform,and the aim of high efficiency and high fidelity is achieved.
