Design of a LoRa-based Mining Hazardous Gas Detection System
In response to the issues of potential emission of hazardous gases from coal and surrounding rocks in mines,as well as their generation during the production process, presents a LoRa-based design for a mining hazardous gas detection system. The system utilizes the MH-441D methane gas sensor and ME3 series electrochemical gas sensors to detect hazardous gases within the mine.It employs a LoRa wireless communication module for data transmission, enabling remote monitoring of the mine environment.Through experimental testing,it is observed that when the distance between the terminal and the gateway is within 300 m,the com-munication success rate exceeds 90%,and the maximum concentration detection error is 4.25%.The system offers advantages such as long transmission distance, high accuracy, fast response time, and strong reliability.
