This article provides a detailed introduction to the design method of the U.S.joint operations symbol by researching the U.S.joint operations military standard 2525D,and deeply analyzes the relevant design principles of the U.S.joint operations mil-itary subsurface target symbol.The current status of combat symbols for military subsurface targets in China can provide reference for the construction of the symbol system for military subsurface targets in China.
