Interactive Design of Park City Community Wayfinding Based on Environmental Affordance Theory
The paper is a study based on the environmental affordance theory to help park city community people to find their ways.Taking Guixi Ecological Park City Community in Chengdu as the research object and making a research plan, starting from the relationship between behavioral preferences of pathfinders and environmental affordance, this paper evaluats the pathfinding behavior of the people in this community, analyzes the most direct pathfinding pain points at present, and then constructs a crowd pathfinding method suitable for the characteristics of urban community in the park. Finally, simulation experiments are carried out to verify the effect of the optimized wayfinding interaction.Due to its unique planning, park urban community has some pathfinding problems, such as"difficulty in identifying various types of functional areas","incompatibility between roads and transportation vehicles",and"interference of greening on spatial understanding".By strengthening the"imageable","connectable"and"permeable"affordance display in the environment,it can assist the spontaneous wayfinding interaction of people in order to promote community governance under the concept of park city.
