On the Narrative Expressions of Lisu Costume Patterns from the Perspective of Iconography
The paper studies the narrative expressions of Lisu costume pattems through investigation and literature review based on Panofsky's theory on iconography,probing into their symbolic meaning and cultural connotation of the image stories formed behind the patterns.The study shows that the Lisu costume pattems are rich in themes,varied colors,simple and exquisite craftsmanship,and contain rich historical memories such as primitive myths,historical folklore and fictional folk tales,reflecting the beautiful expectations and self-pleasing feelings of the Lisu people,faith worship and creative concepts.The research aims to enrich the costume culture of the Lisu people.
