Translation and Expression of the Great Wall Culture in Narrative Landscapes
The Great Wall serves as an important carrier for the regional cultural development and the inheritance of national folk culture in Qinhuangdao.The spirit of the Great Wall is also the core of constructing the humanistic spirit in the city.The urban exhibition garden,themed around the Great Wall culture,is suitable for the application of narrative spatial theory.This paper analyzes the narrative landscapes systematically,summarizes the translation path of cultural-themed narrative landscapes in the contemporary context,and combines it with the landscape design practice of the Qinhuangdao,Hebei Expo park in 2023.By excavating and refining narrative landscape materials,setting clues for historical thematic narratives,and elaborating on the rhetorical expression of the reading experience space,the translation and expression of the Great Wall culture in narrative landscapes are expounded.The aim is to create a brand new experience of cultural and landscape integration from a narrative perspective.
