Research on Visual Search Efficiency under the Difference of Interface Dimension of Guide Map
The dimensional difference of images will have a certain degree of impact on the user's information acquisition and visual interaction efficiency. This paper takes guide map interface design as an example, establishes map samples of three different dimensions, uses eye tracking experiment to collect the eye movement data of users searching for a specified target for analysis, and collects user's subjective feeling data based on the SUS system usability scale.Combining qualitative and quantitative methods, this paper compares and analyzes the user visual search efficiency and rule differences in map presentation with different dimensions. The results show that user comprehensive search efficiency is the highest in 2D presentation mode, while with the increase of interface dimension, the user's search behavior is affected by perspective factors, and the comprehensive search efficiency gradually decreases.
