Evaluation of Communication Space in Aged Neighborhood in Wuhan from the Perspective of Environmental Behavior
In the context of urban renewal,the renewal boom of old communities in China has come.For historical traditional settlements,due to their unique architectural characteristics and spatial texture,it is necessary to improve the spatial design on the basis of preserving the historical style,which faces greater challenges than ordinary residential areas.From the perspective of environmental behavior,this paper formulates an evaluation system from five aspects:privacy protection,neighborhood communication,safety protection,visual environment,and community belonging.The study of communication space was conducted using field research,questionnaire collection,and a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation approach.The findings demonstrats that different evaluation variables'ratings in the Hanrunli communication space showed distinct characteristics.The three aspects'previous design orientation was provided together with the prioritization and detailed analysis of each indicator based on the evaluation results.This study aims to provide an effective way to think about the renewal strategy of public space in traditional historical settlements,and provide some reference value in the practical renewal of traditional historical settlements.
