How is Chinese Design Study Possible:an Interview with Professor Zhu Shuai of Peking University
The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed accelerating the construction of the three major systems of Chinese philosophy and social sciences,namely the discipline system,academic system,and discourse system.This construction is an important task for the development and prosperity of philosophical and social sciences in China at this stage,and it is also an important program to guide the research of cross-disciplinary design studies.Taking the development history of design as an entry point,Prof.Zhu Shuai puts forward forward-looking thoughts on the construction of inter-disciplinary and subjective academic system of Chinese design,exploring a new path for the independent knowledge system of"Chinese design studies",builds the leadership of Chinese design discourse system in the international design discourse field,and injects a new impetus into the promotion of the theoretical innovation and disciplinary development of design.
