摘要
王朝闻的工艺美学思想对当代工艺美术和设计的创造有着重要的指导意义.他认为工艺美术的突出审美特征是"似与不似之间",是"形不足而神较足",要"新而美"而不要"新而丑",最终效果是"耐看".王朝闻的工艺美术审美特征论,受到了中国传统文人审美观念的影响,也契合了西方现代主义设计思潮.
Abstract
The artistic aesthetic thoughts of Wang Zhaowen are of great significance to the creation of contemporary arts and crafts and design.He believes that the outstanding aesthetic characteristics of arts and crafts is"between likeness and unlikeness","insufficient in shape and sufficient in spirit",should be"new and beautiful"but not"new and ugly",while the final effect is"to bear lasting viewing".Wang Zhaowen's theory on aesthetic characteristic of arts and crafts is influenced by the traditional Chinese literati's aesthetic concept,and also accords with the western modernist design trend of thought.
