Regeneration and Reconstruction:on the Renewal Design of Memory Space in Traditional Villages:a Case Study of Pan Village of Qimen County
Traditional village memory space,as the main carrier of village cultural memory,represent localized and regional fields of memory formed through villagers'prolonged cognitive and practical activities.Based on the theory of field of memory,this study investigates Pan Village in Qimen County,Anhui Province.Employing the means-end chain research method,it explores the perceptions and current status of memory transmission among villagers and tourists.Focusing on selected samples of memory space renewal,the study analyzes the characteristics and issues of key elements.Guided by the overall thought of reconstruction-regeneration,following the action strategy of the whole chain,the research integrates theoretical insights with practical applications.Its aim is to reshape villagers'collective memory and propose practical pathways for applying memory space theory in the sustainable development and revitalization of traditional villages in China.
