Hypertext Structure in the Digital Era:Reflection on Nonlinear Interaction Design and Bidirectional Links
Interaction design,as a typical contemporary digital art form,is promoting innovation and development in the art field.Digital technology breaks through the inherent boundaries of traditional art and enables multi-dimensional interactions between artists, works and viewers. This interactivity opens up new possibilities for artistic creation. This paper uses Mark Bernstein's hypertext theory to provide a new perspective for design.By examining the structure and node attributes, the paper explores the characteristics of nonlinearity, bidirectional links and link coherence, and make full use of node and link interaction design with hypermedia and hypertext characteristics. The node contents in the structure can refer to each other and supplement the connotation, enriching the levels of interactive works. From traditional text to hypertext, and from traditional art to interactive works, digital technology provides a more open structure for contemporary art and builds new paths and ways of expression.
