Affective Computing as a Cognitive Pathway:on the Interaction Design of Therapeutic Art Products
With the integration of intelligent technologies and artistic creation, art therapy products have emerged as unique tools for emotional expression, with emotional cognition at the core of their interaction. However, due to the limitations of traditional interaction pathways, such products often fail to meet the demands for personalization and dynamic adaptation. From the perspective of cognitive feedback loop encompassing emotional perception, emotional analysis, and emotional feedback, this paper explains why affective computing can serve as the cognitive pathway for interaction in art therapy products and proposes corresponding interaction design strategies. The study aims to investigate how technology can proactively respond to and care for the human emotional world in an intelligent context, emphasizing from a design perspective that emotions should not merely serve as input parameters for technical logic but should also function as a language embedded throughout product design and therapeutic experiences.
