The emphasis on both mental health education and service,transitioning gradually from mental health education to mental health service,is a requirement of the times.By reviewing and analyzing the relationship between mental health education and service and the cultivation of top-notch innovative talents,it is shown that positive mental health qualities can provide a prerequisite and guarantee for the cultivation of creativity of top-notch innovative talents,and creative activities will promote the development of mental health education and service.This dialectical relationship underscores the significant value of implementing mental health education,strengthening mental health services,and constructing its system in schools.To actively and steadily promote the construction of school mental health education and service systems with Chinese characteristics,it is necessary to build localized mental health assessment tools tailored to China,develop school mental health curricula and educational resources,enhance the construction of school psychological counseling and consultation rooms,further improve the school crisis prevention and intervention service system,genuinely integrate mental health education and service as the fundamental project for cultivating top-notch innovative talents,position the cultivation of these talents as the commanding point in the implementation of mental health education and service,and provide new concepts and pathways for the national strategy of implementing mental health education and service and cultivation of top-notch innovative talents.
