A Research of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services in South Africa
The article employed a literature analysis method to study the prominent psychological health issues and the current status of psychological health services for children and adolescents in South Africa.The results indicate that the main psychological health issues for South African children and adolescents include emotional problems,alcohol and drug abuse,campus violence,and suicide.At the same time,South Africa has relied on government departments such as health,social development,and basic education,as well as various resources from the"family-school-society"alliance,to construct a comprehensive and multi-channel psychological health support system,providing significant guarantees for the healthy development of children and adolescents.Currently,South Africa's attention and investment in the field of psychological health services are gradually increasing,but still face a series of challenges such as insufficient resources and low coverage,especially in the area of information technology applications,where there is still significant room for improvement.
