What is High Quality Compulsory Education:Current Situation,Challenge,and Future Direction
The essential requirements of Chinese modernization in education field reflect in high quaity compulsory education.Based on the semantic network analysis method,the study analyzes the development process of China's compulsory education from"modernization oriented"model to"Chinese path to modernization"model.Through the comparative study of important policy texts and realistic texts,it is found that China's compulsory education from"quality"to"high quality"is a process of gradual change,in which the goal of"modernization oriented"is gradually realized,It is a double leap of"quantity"and"quality".The change of policy and the highlight of the practical problems are intertwined.The policy guides the practical action,and the practical problems promote the policy change,especially in school selection and regional imbalance.The construction of a high-quality compulsory education system is faced with a series of challenges,such as returning to the main position,equalization,coordination and digitalization.Looking forward to the future,we should pay close attention to the construction of a compulsory education structural system of"one body,two wings and three keys",so as to promote the development of high-quality compulsory education.
