France has always attached great importance to the construction of textbooks for basic education.Under the strict adherence to national curriculum guidelines,French textbooks are characterized by various forms of preparation,marketisation of publication,freedom of choice,timely updating of content,etc.,which has led to a situation of"one guideline,multiple textbooks"in textbook development.It adopts a dual management model combining centralization and free marketisation;it embodies a sense of autonomy based on teachers'professionalism in terms of textbook usage;and it gives full play to the advantages of different subjects in resource development to promote quality and diversity of educational resources.Based on the problems existing in the development of textbook,and drawing on France's practical experience,the construction of textbooks in basic education in China should further refine the curriculum standards,implement the recycling system of teaching materials,improve the periodic revision system for textbooks,and strengthen training and guidance on textbook usage.
