As one of the important equipment in power plants, ensuring the stability of condenser working state is of great significance to the safe and economic operation of generating units. Therefore,a multi-variable alarm monitoring method for condenser based on normal operating area is proposed.Firstly, the simulation model is built according to the thermodynamic characteristics of the condenser, and the analytical solution of the associated variables in the model is calculated. Then, the effective data of condenser vacuum and its associated variables are extracted from the historical data, and the unknown parameters of the model are identified by genetic algorithm. Finally, based on the normal data points of multiple associated variables in the system mechanism model, the normal operating area of related associated variables is established. The test results based on the industrial case verify that the proposed method can effectively monitor the condenser system, enable operators to detect abnormal conditions in advance, and provide guarantee for the reliable operation of thermal power units.
