Director Ma Xiaojun's Experience in Treating Hyperthyroidism with Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine
Director Ma Xiaojun believes that hyperthyroidism is closely related to phlegm-heat,with the main pathogenesis of the mutual combination of phlegm,heat,and blood stasis.This paper summarizes Director Ma Xiaojun's understanding of the etiology and pathogenesis of hyperthyroidism and introduces the idea of combining the syndrome differentiation and treatment in traditional Chinese medicine with the Western medicine methimazole.The clinical practice has demonstrated that the combination of Chinese and Western medicine has definite effects on the clinical symptoms and shortens the treatment cycle of hyperthyroidism.
