Fainting During Acupuncture Case:Special Symptoms of Fainting During Acupuncture and Dizziness Reaction
Fainting during acupuncture is often defined as an adverse reaction occurring during acupuncture treatment,which is life-threatening in serious cases and needs to be identified promptly and effectively treated.Therefore,fainting during acupuncture is generally classified as a safety concern in acupuncture.However,through clinical observation in the tutor's clinic and a review of relevant literature,the author has noted cases with symptoms differing from those described in current teaching materials.Fainting during acupuncture does not always an adverse event associated with acupuncture.At times,it may enhance therapeutic outcomes even to the cure point,belonging to the category of dizziness reaction.Hence,the author selected two distinct cases of fainting during acupuncture observed in the tutor's clinic for detailed description,discussion,and analysis.This approach aims to foster a more comprehensive and objective understanding of the concept and nature of fainting during acupuncture.
