Experience of Treating Breast Hyperplasia Based on Differentiation of"Dampness,Qi,and Deficiency"
Professor Wang Yuying,a master of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)in Beijing,has been engaged in the teaching and clinical work of TCM for more than 60 years and has unique insights into gynecology and related professional diseases.Prof.Wang believes that the occurrence of breast hyperplasia is closely related to the dysfunction of the spleen,liver,and kidney and emphasizes the treatment of this disease from the etiology in terms of dampness,Qi,deficiency,and Chong and Ren channels.Prof.Wang summarizes that the main pathogenesis of this disease is phlegm-dampness,liver-Qi stagnation,and Yin-deficiency of the kidney,and imbalance of Chong and Ren channels.The treatment of this disease is based on the methods of moving Qi to resolve phlegm,dredging the liver to regulate Qi,nourishing the liver and kidney Yin,and regulating Chong and Ren channels,with the stasis-removing method carried out throughout the process.This article summarized Professor Wang's experience,with two experimental cases attached,so as to provide a reference for medical colleagues.
